Audio / Console Service Engineer

Nr Oxford, Oxfordshire, UK


Audio / Console Service Engineer is required by our client, joining a team delivering world class technical and operational support to both end users and network of distributors around the world. This is a key engineering role that would ideally suit a self-motivated individual who enjoys a dynamic environment, travel and with an interest in extending their knowledge and skills.

 

This Audio / Console Service Engineer role will include:

 

·         On-site system commissioning

·         On-site operational training

·         Field service support and on-site repair

·         In-office telephone and email support

·         Promotion of our post-sales services and upgrades

·         Preparation and maintenance of our demonstration facilities


To be considered for this role you will have previous electronic/service/repair experience with excellent problem solving skills and the ability to think laterally. You will have a flexible schedule and ability to travel internationally at short notice with good verbal communication skills.

 

Naturally you will have the ability to prioritise and work under pressure; have strong interpersonal skills and customer-focus with an understanding of the sensitivities of working on site and when providing remote support. You will have an aptitude for self-learning and efficient integration of new information and be a  team oriented individual with the ability to work under own initiative and accept accountability. You will be competent to a high level of computer literacy and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

 

A degree or equivalent qualification in electronic or audio engineering and experience in studio, broadcast or live sound is a bonus but is not essential.
