Job Title: Head of Instruments & Effects (Signal Processors / Audio Generators)
Location: Berlin, Germany
Salary: €Competitive + benefits
Our client is an internationally recognised brand with a myriad of class leading audio products and music production software. They are now looking for a talented individual to lead the development of their musical instruments and effects.
The creation of the related audio engines involves a close cooperation between audio DSP Engineers, Developers, Sound Designers, and Product Designers. This role sits in the centre, coordinating the audio development of signal processors and generators.
This role will see you leading a team of DSP Developers, coordinating between DSP Development, Product Design and Sound Design. You will suggest possible audio technology and product developments whilst evaluating audio related aspects of algorithms for synthesis and effects during the whole development process.
To be considered for this role you will naturally have experience in computer based music production and sound design with very good knowledge of digital signal processing as applied to music software. You will have an excellent overview of the current market of instruments and effects software and hardware with a good overview of sound and production workflow in current popular music genres.
Experience in working with audio developers would be a big plus. A good grasp of spoken and written English is essential. German language skills would be a bonus but are not essential.
